Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. In Newark Whitney started singing with the choir of the church when she was a young child. At the age 15 she accompanied her mother backing vocals in Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. In the following years, she was a backing vocals to Lou Rawls & Jermaine jackson and her mother. In 1981, she began to work as a vocalist in the New York funk group Material. Her high-quality vocal performance of this group that attracted the attention of record label like Arista. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album of an artist who was a rookie. The album had several smash singles, including Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Will You Know That You're a Good Person And The More Love of All. This led to her achieving seven US Number Ones in a row. It was even better than the Beatles. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then reached 25,000,000 copies worldwide. This gave her the first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles How Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her first album. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most popular performers. While the movie and the actress' performance were not much praised, her soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her most popular single and album for several months. It sold over 44 million copies across the globe. It was also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. At this point her use of drugs became well documented and she was able to use it regularly by 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorperson for the CNN reporter and political correspondent for CNN. The anchor has also created certain of the network's Sunday programs such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels, such as NBC as well as CBS. Bash is a recipient of several awards and honours. Elle magazine once listed her on its Women in Washington Power List. She is known for her incredible anchoring and reporting capabilities, she's adored by many young journalists in the industry. She is also a loving father to her son despite being a graduate from George Washington University. The couple has had two marriages and is currently a single.
