Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British and her mother was an Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother perform in play rehearsals. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually moved into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in the year 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows in a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was included in CNN's list of Favorite TV Couples from all time and voted E!'s top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
