Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she relocated to the United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two She and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But, she was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained the GED. After that she was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
